Dr. Lyn Bateman. Ph.D. D.Sc is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, Director of clinical and Medical studies to the International Institute of Clinical and Medical Hypnosis, member of the British Association of Therapeutical Hypnotists the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and Founder of the Welsh Society of Registered Clinical Hypnotherapists.

Lyn gained a degree, Dr. clinical hypnosis/Hypnoanalysis for his work in psychological and mental disorders, a Doctor of Science in Clinical Hypnosis and Counselling and another degree in Alternative Medicine he is truly an ambassador to the science of hypnosis/hypnotherapy. He is 59 years old and runs a highly successful practice in the Town of Risca South Wales.

Professional hypnotherapist, after dinner speaker, radio and TV broadcaster and lecturer on clinical and medical hypnosis, He has given over 1000 demonstrations of his science and is considered to be one of Britain’s foremost leading hypnotherapists. Lyn has thirty years experience in the psychodynamics and treatments of psychological and mental disorders, with the use of hypnosis.

He never reads newspapers or watches television; his time is spent totally upon the study of humanistic behaviour, hypnosis and hypnotherapeutic techniques. His work is also his hobby and this is what makes him so outstanding in his field, he is a master when it comes down to hypnosis/hypnotherapy and hypnotic technique.

He has trained Clinicians from many parts of the world, from Indonesia, Norway, France and Germany who have come to the UK to personally to train with Lyn to take his vast experience and share it with others around the world. During 2006 a request was sent to Lyn asking would he go to Norway, lecturing and training his science to clinicians but he refused on the grounds of his extremely busy practice and the training of his own students in the U.K.

Lyn his an extremely down to earth person who enjoys people from all walks of life. He has spent most of his adult life working with and explaining hypnosis/hypnotherapy and training students in the field of hypnotherapy to practitioner level. His ability to change every day people into highly skilled professional therapists is second to non, couple this with his proven techniques and over thirty years full time clinical practice is what makes him such an outstanding ambassador within the hypnotherapy profession.

He is at present authoring a book on the practical uses of Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapy for the consulting room and for the use in hospitals and the medical environment where rapid induction and depth is of the most important in an emergancy situation.
